IRINA ROZOVSKY & MARK STEINMETZ: Position & Condition
March 1-3, 2019
Photographers are constantly seeking to refine their stance and position towards their subject, and to understand the conditions of the shifting world they are portraying. Among the many questions that surface during critique, this workshop will consider one’s chosen subject matter and relationship to it. Teaching together for the first time, Mark and Irina will look closely at student work and share their own. They will offer guidance and direction, pulling from the experience of their own practice. The work of other photographers will be shown and discussed. This workshop invites students of all levels interested in developing their voice and outlook, with serious consideration towards the shaping of a body of work.
